Barcelona star Lamine Yamal, 18, raised a Palestinian flag from the open-top bus during the club’s La Liga title parade through central Barcelona on Monday. The gesture quickly spread across social media. Yamal took the flag from fans in the crowd midway through the parade route, which ran from Camp Nou through the city center. Teammate Robert Lewandowski also drew attention during the parade by waving an estelada the Catalan independence flag. Barcelona clinched the title Sunday with a 2-0 victory over Real Madrid in El Clásico.
