Wayne Rooney says he felt bad when Chelsea gave a guard of honour to Manchester United in 2007:
"I remember when we played Chelsea, I felt bad. I did, I felt really bad because we won the league and Chelsea were giving us a guard of honour. And he [Sir Alex Ferguson] played, I think it was Kieran Lee, it was Dong [Fangzhou], Adam Eckersley..
. he played all these young lads and you've got like [Frank] Lampard, John Terry, you've got all the Chelsea first team players giving all these young lads a guard of honour. And I felt bad, that was poor from us, we shouldn't have done that."
"The lads who walked out didn't deserve a guard of honour. That was their first game of the season.""I wouldn't have liked that if Chelsea would have done that."
